Do I need to buy the equipment?

The equipment installed by Internet Canarias in your home so you can connect to our Wimax or 4G LTE network, and thus enjoy our Internet and/or telephony service, remains the property of Internet Canarias, leased to the client though without charge. In view of this, Internet Canarias offers an UNLIMITED guarantee for the equipment.

How can I desactivate or reactivate my internet or telephony contract?

You can request deactivation of your Internet or telephone connection comfortably using the deactivation web form.

Remember that you need to request this by the 24th of the month before you wish to effect it.

For instance, if you wish to deactivate your Internet connection from 1 October, you need to request this between the 1st and 24th of September.

You can request reactivation of your Internet or telephone connection comfortably using the activation web form.

You can request this any day of the month. You will be billed on a pro rata basis for the days remaining in the month.

In the case of mobile lines, flat rates and allowance rates cannot be reactivated within one month after deactivation.

The request can only be put into effect from the 1st of the following month. Nevertheless, the line can be activated, although only on a consumption basis.

Does the Internet Canarias contract have a minimum term?

Internet Canarias has no minimum term for the WIMAX, 4G LTE, LANDLINE or MOBILE services. After the first full monthly payment, you can unsubscribe and subscribe as often as you wish, because we at Internet Canarias are flexible. Some of our promotions do include a minimum term, and you can see this in the respective conditions for each.

With Internet Canarias you can unsubscribe and subscribe as often as you wish, because we are flexible.

If you go on holiday, you don’t pay anything. We do not charge for line maintenance or management.

What does the subscription cost include and what does installation involve?

The subscription cost includes the installation and activation of the service in our systems.

In order that you can enjoy Wimax or 4G LTE technology, an authorised technician will visit your home to install a reception antenna. Normally, the best place to install it is on an existing TV antenna mast. The technician will install the cabling to the interior the dwelling. This network cable can be connected to a PC, or you can connect it to a wifi router. The subscription cost does not include any system of cabling within the home. Depending on the layout of the dwelling and your needs, the technician will be able to offer a quote for an additional internal distribution solution, in accordance with the customer’s indications.

Do I need a telephone line?

We offer Internet connection using wireless networks (Wimax or 4G LTE) or via satellite (Sky Tooway).

These technologies are characterised by establishing communication via radio or satellite link, so that it is not necessary to have a conventional telephone line. If in addition to connecting to the Internet, you wish to have a landline or mobile line, Internet Canarias can also offer you these services.

Can I request a fixed IP address?

With Internet Canarias, you can request assignment of a fixed IP address at any time, which would give you a unique Internet address, rather as if it were a telephone number.

If you are not yet a customer, we recommend that you request this additional service when you contract the Internet service. If you are an existing customer, you can request this by email to: adm@internetcanarias.com

Can I open ports?

The fastest way to request the opening of additional ports is to contact our technical department by email at: soporte@excom.es. One of our systems technicians will take care of opening all the ports you require, remotely, and without any need to visit your home. What payment methods are available?
All the fees are payable on the 1st of each month for that month, by direct debit or by card. The bank accounts must be within the European Union.
If you choose to charge it to a card, the card must have been activated for online payments.
